Mount Michael Long Lunch

Mount-MichaelUnwind 300m out to sea for a long lunch with Mount Michael exclusives you can’t try anywhere else. Otago’s best kept secret will be presented by winemaker James McElrea and paired with four courses from Head Chef Fraser Shenton on Saturday 28 October.

To warm up your taste buds, the latest Mount Michael Estate Pinot Noir will be available to be sampled. With only 22 bottles of the 2013 in existence we are thrilled be able to include this vintage in a vertical tasting alongside the 2014 & 2015 – three very different vintages and three very different wines. Mount Michael will also present the 2013 Bessie’s Block Reserve Pinot Noir. Only making 200 cases of this premium reserve wine from their Lowburn Vineyard, 70 cases of this bold vintage have a home within the Mount Michael Library and we can’t wait to dust a few off to share exclusively with you.
